Assalamualaikum,
I'm tracing my roots on my father's side who used to reside in Muar.
I was informed that my root's are as follows:
1. Great grandfather - Dato' Abdul Hamid Yusoff
(One of the Menteri Besar Johor)
2. Grandfather - Kassim bin Abdul Hamid
3. Father - Onn bin Kassim was born in 1948.
4. Myself - Nur Izzuddin Izham bin Onn My father,
My grandfather (Kassim) was married to a converted chinese muslim by the name of
Azizah Abdullah and resided in Muar Johor. [Not sure wife nombor berapa.]
The marriage was blessed with 2 children, Zubaidah Kassim and Onn Kassim
5 years later, my grandmother divorced Kassim and moved to Kuala Lumpur.
I never knew who is Kassim and the families. In other word, I've no idea on the origin of my roots.
Hope you can assist in tracing my roots if possible. By the way, I was born in 1972.
